We have the following Vacancy: TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER - Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics - or a really good technical understanding due to a specific training. You get a much higher respect from customers if you can convince by good technical understanding. It is also more fun to generate business if you can see that customers recognize your technical abilities. - Interest in a combination work of technical Sales and technical after Sales work. - Experience in the technical field of at least two ranges of our equipment would be great, but is not mandatory. - Able to work independently. You arrange customer records, customer visits, reporting and discuss requirements and offers with the customers. Eventually, you support the case through till later spare parts supply. - Computer literate. You should be able to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. We would appreciate though if you could support our office with occasional Turbo-CAD drawings that we need to generate. - Fluent in English (Malay, and/or Chinese in addition are an advantage). Priority at this moment is surely the Singapore market. But for some suppliers, we handle more countries than just Singapore. For those, you should support local agents or customers the same way as you do in Singapore. Ideally you enjoy a bit of travelling every now and then. - We are an efficient and dedicated team. We need a long-term person to work with us. - Oh yes, and a message of our MD: We are dedicated to a non-smoking environment in our company - and we don't want to see sharks tortured just for their fins ;-)
